Maliki attends medical graduates celebration

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, participated in the ceremony held to honor the graduatess of the Arab Council of Medical Specializations who obtained the Arab Board Certification.The Presidency of the Council of Ministers reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”Maliki congratulated the graduated doctors for achieving the top degrees.”Maliki said in a speech delivered at the ceremony, which was attended by the Deans of the Medical Colleges, Iraqi Medical Cadres, Chairmen of Medical Syndicates and Chairmen of Iraqi Universities, that ”This achievement makes us proud with the abilities of the Iraqis in terms of creating a better future for Iraq and preserving the image of the Iraqi ancient civilization which characterizes Iraqi people throughout the time.””Maliki offered his thanks for the Ministry of Health due to its offerts in establishing a modern and sophisticated medical system,” the statement concluded.
