Maysan endorses updated designs of Maymona district

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Governor of Maysan province, Ali Dawi Lazim, declared the ratification of the updated basic designs of Maymona district.

He reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com ”A committee was formed to assume coordination with the Ministry of Municipality and Public Work to obtain the required administrative and legal approvals concerning the expansion of Maymona district towards northward in order to create new residential areas to suit the increase in the population which occurred in the province.”

The statement pointed out ”The new design included establishment of industrial area and services facilities as well as educational, health and entertainment institutions,” stressing that ”The governorate of Maysan intends to expand all its areas to commensurate the population increase.” \
