Maysan PC announces holiday on Wednesday

Maysan (IraqiNews.com) Maysan Provincial Council decided to announce Wednesday an official holiday in the province for the occasion of the ninth of Muharam.

The Deputy Chairman of Maysan PC Jawad Rahim stated to Iraqi News “Tomorrow, Wednesday, the ninth of Muharam is an official holiday for all governmental departments in the province, except the security, health and services departments to facilitate the participation of the citizens in commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Hussein May Peace Be Upon Him.”
