Maysan PC contracts with 36 Indian doctors, nurses

Maysan (IraqiNews.com) Maysan Provincial Council announced contracting with more than 30 Indian doctors and nurses to work in the hospitals of the province.

The head of Maysan PC, Abdul Hussein Abul al-Ridha, stated in a press conference on Monday “After finishing our visit to India, we have contracted with 12 Indian doctors and 24 nurses in all specializations to work in the hospitals of the province.”

“The doctors will arrive in Maysan in the next few days after completing the artistic procedures,” he added, noting that “A delegation of the province, comprising the head of the Health and Environment Committee, Maytham al-Fartosi, a number of the Iraqi doctors, the Legal Advisor of Maysan PC and the Services Advisor, has visited India and contracted with those doctors.”

For his part, Fartosi stated “Those doctors will also give lectures in the Medical Colleges of the provinces and make courses for the Iraqi doctors in addition to the nurses who have 10-15 years of experience will conduct nursing courses for the nursing institutes in the province.”
