Minister of Justice assures implementing death verdicts issued against 11 terrorists

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Death verdicts issued against 11 convicts have been implemented, on Tuesday, after Iraqi Presidency approval, the ministry of Justice announced .

A statement of the ministry received by IraqiNews.com, quoted on Hassan al-Shimmari ,the minister of Justice , saying ” The implementing of execution penalty against those convicts, have been issued on last Sunday , after their judgments became final “.

“All of the 11 convicts sentenced to death penalty, are Iraqis “, Shimmari noted, adding”

The 11th convicts sentenced to death penalty, had carried out heinous terrorist operations against the Iraqi people, and they found guilty on terror charges, in accordance with Article (4) terrorism, which includes committing terrorism crimes against Iraqi people”.
