MoC honors Yusif al-Ani

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Cinema and Theater Directorate within the Ministry of Culture honored the artist, Yusif al-Ani, on the occasion of retuning to the stage of the theater after a period of being away of theater that lasted for (70) years.Ani told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) ”The honoring coincided with the anniversary of my first play on 24/ February/ 1944 where I performed a play written by me named (al-Qamertuay) and I was only (17) years old then.””I used to celebrate by myself each year on this occasion, but the cinema and theater directorate celebrated with me this year and I’m really praising this gesture from the Ministry of Culture,” he concluded. \END\
