MoE call to establish plants genetic banks in Iraqi provinces

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Environment called the concerned authorities in the Ministry of Agriculture to re-activate the genetic banks and the national greenswards in all Iraqi provinces.The Ministry of Environment reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The MoE calls to re-activate the national greenswards and to establish several genetic banks in the Iraqi province in order to preserve and develop the genetic resources of plants in Iraq.””The Ministry of Environment announced offering the required support to prepare an Iraqi wide encyclopedia that includes all the experiences and abilities of the Ministry of Agriculture,” the statement added. \END\
