Kurdistan Region Health Ministry demands Central Government pay its debts

Erbil (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Health in Kurdistan Regional Government demanded Kurdistan Region and the Parliament in the Region to urge the Federal Government to repay the debts of the Ministry.

The Minister of Health within Kurdistan Region, Rekot Hama Rasheed, reported in a press statement ”The Federal Government did not support the Ministry of Health within Kurdistan Region adequately since there is great insufficiency in providing the medications and the medical supplies allocated for the Ministry of Health within Kurdistan Region.”

”Since 2004 till now, the debts are accumulated on the Federal Government and the Kurdistani Parliament should practice its role to restore these debts,” the statement concluded.
