MoHE Turkish Ambassador discuss increasing Turkish scholarships

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Ali al-Adeeb, met the Turkish Ambassador to Iraq, Faruq Qaimaqchi, and they discussed the means of promoting bilateral relations between Iraq and Turkey.The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The Iraqi Minister expressed the desire of Iraq to enhance its educational and cultural relations with Turkey in order to increase the cooperation prospects between the two countries.””The meeting tackled increasing the Turkish scholarships granted for Iraqi students and the possibility to identify a date to hold the Turkish Universities Conference, which is supposed to be held in Iraq, in addition to hold joint meetings among deans of Iraqi and Turkish universities to discuss concluding understanding memorandums and exchange educational experiences,” the statement concluded. \END\
