MoHR Discovers 241 corpses of Iraqi-Iranian war victims
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Human Rights discovered (205) corpses belong to the Iraqi and Iranian victims of the Iraq-Iranian war in Faw city of southern Iraq.

The Ministry of Human Rights reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The Missing and Captives Department within the Humanitarian Affairs Directorate of the Ministry of Human Rights in cooperation with the Iranian side carried out the joint digging operations under the supervision of the International Committee of the Red Cross in order to extract the victims’ corpses from Faw city.”

”The joint sides discovered (169) Iraqi soldiers’ corpses, among them (41) corpses were identified, while the Iranian corpses were (36), only (20) of them were identified, and they are still working in the same area till now,” the statement added.”Iraq has received (46) corpses belong to the Iraqi soldiers that were killed during the Iraqi-Iranian war at the eighties of the last century,” the statement concluded.
