Monday to be 1st Day of Eid Fitr, announces Ifta House

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – The General Ifta House of Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaah in Iraq announced tomorrow, Friday, will be the first day of the Eid al-Fitr in Iraq.
The Grand Mufti of the Sunnis in Iraq, Sheikh Mehdi al-Sumaidaie, said in a press conference in Om al-Tuboul Mosque in Baghdad: “The vision of the crescent has proved that Thursday is the last day of Ramadan and Friday will be the first day of Eid al-Fitr.”
