Najaf lawyers perform sit-in near Appeal Court

Najaf (IraqiNews.com) Najaf lawyers performed a sit-in near Najaf Appeal Court protesting abuses by the executive authority and Judiciary against a lawyer in Diyala province. The head of Lawyers Association in Najaf, Mohamed al-Mihanna, said in a statement to (IraqiNews.com) “Dozens of lawyers performed a sit-in that lasted for an hour in front of the Appeal Court of Najaf province.” Mihanna added “In case, these acts continue, all lawyers of the country will boycott the courts and conduct a sit-in at the Supreme Judicial Council.”
