Najaf PC reveals bad performance in rehabilitating project of Maysan popular market

Najaf (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Integrity Committee in Najaf Provincial Council, Khalid al-Numani, revealed about negligence and bad performance by the municipal council of the province in following up the implementation of rehabilitating popular Maysan market within the province.

Numani told IraqiNews.com “The commission intends to refer the project of rehabilitating popular market of Maysan neighborhood in Kufa district to the integrity commission,” noting that “after we inspected the market in a field visit, we found that there is clear bad performance in implementing the project.”

“The project was referred to implementation almost two years ago, at cost of IQD 270 million but the rehabilitating project is not completed yet,” he concluded.
