Nineveh Governor confirms keeping security forces away from political disputes

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) Nineveh Governor, Athil al-Nijaifi, confirmed that it is necessary to keep the security forces away from the political disputes.

In his Facebook page, he said “I met a group of clergymen and stressed our adherence to have good relation with the security forces in the province.”

“We should keep our disputes with the people of the authority in Baghdad away from our stance regarding the security forces,” he concluded.
