Nineveh prepares to host cabinet meeting

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) Nineveh prepares to host the Council of Ministers’ meeting with attendance of the Premier Nouri al-Maliki, tomorrow, Tuesday. A source from the Information Office of Nineveh Governorate cited “Nineveh Governor Atheel al-Nijaifi met today the Directors General in the Governorate to discuss the directorates’ needs and demands and the obstacles which hinder their work.” Concerning the place of holding the meeting, the source pointed out “There is great expectation that the cabinet meeting will be held at the presidential palaces of northern Mosul.” It is worth mentioning that the Iraqi cabinet headed by Maliki has held a meeting on last February 12^th in Basra province, then it held another session in Kirkuk on May, 8^th amid the boycott of the Kurdish ministers most notably the Deputy Prime Minister Rose Nouri Shawis.
