Nineveh starts receiving power through Turkish line

Nineveh, Mosul (IraqiNews.com) Nineveh province started to receive (100 MW), which were already agreed on, through the Turkish electricity power line.

According to a statement issued by Nineveh Governor Athel al-Nijaifi to IraqiNews.com “The electricity directorate of Nineveh province has began to receive (100 MW) through the Turkish electricity power line across Kurdistan Region.”

The statement added that “The citizens will feel the positive improvement after receiving the (150 MW) and we hope to increase the electricity power provided for citizens until (14) hours daily during summer season.”

Nineveh province has inaugurated the test operating of the Turkish line by (50 MW) out of (150 MW) through the Turkish electricity line across Kurdistan Region.
