Iraqi Oil Minister, Chinese Ambassador discuss cooperation in oil industry

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Minister of Oil, Abdul Kareem Leibi, and the Chinese new Ambassador to Iraq discussed the mutual relations between the two countries especially in oil field.

A statement by the Ministry received by IraqiNews.com cited “The Minster and the Ambassador reviewed bilateral relations in energy and oil sectors.”

“The Minister appreciated the Chinese firms’ role in developing the Iraqi Oil industry, calling to expand this role,” the statement added.

“The Ambassador expressed the Chinese desire to upgrade relations in all fields,” the statement concluded.
