Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Secretariat General of the Council of Ministers announced that rain waters that fell on Baghdad during the last 24 hours reached (89 mm).The Secretariat General of Cabinet reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The rain waters that fell on Baghdad since the 9:00 AM of Tuesday morning till 9:00 of the same day reached (41.7 mm).””While the amount of rain waters that fell on Baghdad since 9:00 PM of Tuesday till 9:00 AM of Wednesday morning reached (47.4 mm) according to the estimations of the Iraqi Meteorology and Seismology Organization within the Ministry of Transportation,” the statement added.”The municipal directorates within Baghdad Mayorship summoned all its service vehicles and cadres in addition to operating (280) stations with their utmost capacity to control the heavy rain falling on Baghdad,” the statement concluded. \END\
