Saad demands Government to adopt new policy in electricity power management

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Suzan al-Saad, the member of the Oil and Energy Parliamentary Committee confirmed that the situation of the electric power can only be improved by adopting a new policy to manage this important sector.Saad told AID ”The Minister of Electricity, Abdul Karim Aftan, did not give any hope to improve the situation of electricity power in future.””The Oil and Energy Parliamentary Committee believes that the electricity power crisis will continue if the Government kept following the same approach, calling the Government to change its policy in electricity power management,” she added.The Parliament hosted the Ministry of Electricity, Abdul Karim Aftan, to discuses the electricity power crisis and the reasons behind the lack in equipping citizens, and the Parliament decided to host the Minister once more to continue the same topics. \END
