School suspended due to heavy snowfall in Sulaymaniyah

Kurdistan (IraqiNews.com) The governorates of Erbil and Sulaymaniyah have witnessed Saturday heavy snowfall in most of their cities, while Sulaymaniyah has decided to suspend schools to avoid any crisis.

IraqiNews correspondent reported, that heavy snow has fallen in most of the cities of Erbil and Sulaymaniyah, adding that the governorate of Sulaymaniyah has decided to suspend schools and universities because of the low temperature.

Noteworthy, large amounts of snow have been falling on the streets of Sulaymaniyah province and its surroundings since the early morning of Thursday (Jan 8).
