NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: A child has been killed and five women were injured by an explosive charge blast aimed at a bus, carrying visitors on their way to attend Imam Hussein Bin Ali’s 40th Martyrdom Anniversary Day, on their way to Karbala, in the attack that took place southwest of Mosul, a Ninewa security source reported on Thursday. “A small child was killed on Thursday night and 5 women have been injured in an explosive charge blast, aimed at a bus, carrying visitors for Imam Hussein‘s 40th Martyrdom day anniversary, on the main strategic highway in Ain al-Jahash area, 70 km to the southwest of Mosul,” the security source told IraqiNews.com news agency. He said the bus was carrying visitors from Tel-Afar township, 60 km to the west of Mosul, on their way to Baghdad, to complete their visit on the occasion of the 40th Martyrdom Anniversary Day of Imam Hussein, that took place at the dawn of Islam. Mosul,.the center of Ninewa Province, is 405 km to the north of Baghdad.
