Shabaks organize demonstration in Nineveh

Nineveh, Mosul (IraqiNews.com) Hundreds of Shabak community organized a demonstration in Nineveh province protesting for being targeted by armed groups.The correspondent of IraqiNews.com reported that ”Hundreds of Shabak community organized a demonstration in Barta area, with the Shabak majority, demanding the Government to protect them by forming a security regiment composed of Shabak belong to the Ministry of Interior to provide the protection from the terrorist operations.””The demonstrators held a conference attended by MPs and elders of their set then they cut of the road that link Mosul and Erbil for several minutes expressing their disapproval and condemnation due to the armed operation,” the correspondent added.A car bomb went off targeting housing complex mostly inhabited by Shabak community on Thursday and resulted in killing and wounding (75) civilians according to security and medical sources. \END\
