SJC : 1431 detainees released in last October

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Supreme Judicial Council announced releasing (1,431) detainees were arrested according to the article (4) of Anti- Terrorism law during past October.The Judiciary Authority reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The Public Relations and Legal Affairs Directorate issued several statistics related to the activities of the presidencies of the court within the SJC in last October.””The statistics revealed that the presidencies of the courts released about (1,431) suspects, who were arrested according to the article (4) of Anti- Terrorism law, and referred (1,379) detainees while the number of suspects who were convicted to their crimes reached (408) detainees,” the statement concluded. \END\
