Students in Baghdad demonstrate being transfered to university not built yet

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) On Sunday, dozens of students from the Department of Biological and Applied Technologies demonstrated, in front of the headquarters of the Ministry of Education in central Baghdad, in protest against the decision to transfer them from Nahrain University to Karkh University, which has not yet been established.

The reporter of IraqiNews.com said that dozens of students from the Department of Biological and Applied Technologies at the University of Nahrain demonstrated today, in front of the headquarters of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the center of Baghdad, in protest against being transferred to Karkh University.

He added that the demonstrators insisted that they will continue demonstrating until their demands to cancel the decision are answered, because the University of Karkh has not been established yet and there is no teaching staff.
