Sunni Endowment announces Monday first day of Ramadan

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – The first day of Ramadan will be Monday, tomorrow, the Sunni Endowment announced on Sunday.

The Supreme Committee on supervising the legitimate vision of the crescent of Ramadan said in a press statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “Given the proven sighting of the moon for tonight, Monday, tomorrow, will be the first day of Ramadan this year.”

The committee expressed hopes that Ramadan, “will be the month of goodness, safety, mercy, and forgiveness,” wishing at the same time “to spare the¬†country and the Islamic World from all evil.”
