Syrian refugee: Iraqi authorities force refugees to stay inside camps

Anbar (IraqiNews.com) A Syrian refugee in Anbar province revealed that the Iraqi authorities forced the Syrian refugees to remain inside their camps erected for them in the province. The refugee, who requested to remain unnamed, cited to IraqiNews.com “The Iraqi authorities and after they set up camps for us in Anbar province near the border Qaem port, prevented us from departing the camps which lack the basic services suitable for living and forced us to stay inside the camps until they prepare the necessary supplies.” He added “Despite receiving invitations for us by some families and tribal leaders in Anbar who offered to house us by emptying some houses and buildings, yet the authorities there forced us to stay at the camps without clarifying the reasons.” It is worth to mention that several cities in Syria witness over more than a year violent acts between the Syrian Army and militants besides people uprisings which demand changing the current Syrian regime.
