Taxi project launched in Karbala, Iraq

Karbala (IraqiNews.com) The Communications and Transports Commission announced the launch Karbala Taxi Project on Thursday.

The Chairman of the Committee that supervises the project, Saed Sadeq, reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com “The project aims at providing services for people in Karbala and promoting the level of service in the province.”

”The project organized several transportation paths from the center of the city to the different neighborhoods by modern vehicles,” the statement added, noting that ”The vehicles must be have yellow color specifically and the drivers must wear a unified uniform.”

”Those who desire to work as drivers within this project can attend at the traffic directorate in the province and they should commit to the terms of work, in addition to realizing that they are not employees at any governmental institution,” the statement concluded.
