Thursday announced as holiday in Maysan, Dhi-Qar

Maysan, Ammara (IraqiNews.com) The Provincial Councils of Maysan and Dhi-Qar provinces announced Thursday as a formal holiday due to the high temperatures.The Iraqi cities suffer a big increase in temperature during Summer and since the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan a heat wave controlled the weather coinciding with the lack in the electric power.According to the Iraqi Law, the Secretariat General of the Council of Ministers has the right to announce the day as an official holiday if the temperature reached 50 C
