UK Consulate in Basra visits Maysan

Maysan (IraqiNews.com) The British Consulate in Basra province, Debbie Tomilson, visited Maysan province to discuss the investment opportunities in the province.

A statement by Maysan Provincial Council mentioned “The British Consulate visited Maysan where he met with the First and Second Deputies Governor of Maysan and discussed during the meeting several topics related to economy, reconstruction, and exchanging the expertise.”

The statement quoted the Second Deputy, Khalid Abdul Wahid, as saying “We discussed with the UK Consulate the possibility of implementing investment projects in Maysan and involving the British companies to participate in the reconstruction process in the province.”
