Urgent – 1st group of Syrian refugees arrive in Anbar

Anbar (IraqiNews.com) The first group of the Syrian refugees arrived in Anbar province after escalating violence in their country. Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “A number of refugee families from Syria arrived in Anbar across the border Qaem post where they have been housed in camps set up by the Ministry of Migration and Displacement in Qaem district,” noting that “It is likely that the coming hours and days to witness arrival of more Syrian refugees to the Iraqi lands.” For his part, Anbar Governor Qasim al-Fahdawi announced “Providing all the potentials of the province to serve the Syrian refugees and overcome the difficulties facing them.”
