Urgent – .Maliki instructs to turn back convoy of Turkish pilgrims to Turkey

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki instructed to return a convoy of Turkish pilgrims that entered the Iraqi territories without obtaining permission from the Iraqi authorities.

Babel Governor, Mohamed al-Masoudi told IraqiNews.com on Thursday “PM Maliki instructed by a phone call to return buses of Turkish pilgrims who were heading to Holy Lands in KSA.”

“The convoy started to go back to Turkey after this notice,” Masoudi added.

It is worth mentioning that security forces in Babel province have seized a convoy comprising 145 buses for Turkish pilgrims on their way to KSA to perform pilgrimage rituals.
