Water Resources Ministry: Rain fill 4 dams, Habbaniya lake

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Water Resources revealed that “The rainwater fall during the last few days resulted in filling four dams and Habbaniya Lake.”

A statement by the Ministry cited “The Ministry of Water Resources took all necessary precautions to face any emergencies due to rain falling on central and southern Iraqi provinces.”

“The amount of the rain falling during the last few days helped to fill Dams of Himreen, Wind, Shihabi and Qazaniya in addition to increasing the water level in Habbaniya Lake,” the statement added.
