12 civilians killed, injured western Anbar

Anbar (IraqiNews.com) 12 civilians were killed and injured when 10 mortar shells fell on Rutba district of western Anbar province.

Security source stated to Iraqi News on Monday “10 mortar shells fell on Rutba district targeting Mithaq neighborhood of central Rutba district and resulted in killing two persons and injuring 10 others.”

“Security force rushed to the incident spot and transported the wounded people to the hospital, while the dead bodies were sent to the morgue,” the source concluded.
