105 Wanted individuals arrested within (Revenge for Martyrs) security operation

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Defense declared that the security operations (The Revenge for Martyrs) has resulted in arresting (105) wanted individuals and discovered many weapon caches so far.The Ministry reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com ”In accordance to the instructions of the Commanding General of Armed Forces, the Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, the security forces are going on in implementing (the Revenge for Martyrs) security operation in areas around Baghdad.””The security forces managed to arrest (31) wanted individuals according to the article (4) of Anti- Terrorism law and (61) wanted persons based on intelligence information as well as (13) suspects were arrested while (39) Improvised Explosive Devices and (3) Adhesive Explosive Devices were discovered,” the statement added.The Ministry of Defense in cooperation with Baghdad Operations Command have declared on 1/ August launching a security operation titled (The Revenge for Martyrs) in Baghdad’s suburbs on the background of Abo Gharib and Taji prisons jailbreaks and the increase in terrorist blasts. \END\
