100 people killed, wounded in Alexandria bombing

(IraqiNews.com) Babil – Babil Provincial Council announced on Friday, that 100 people were either killed or wounded in the bomb blast that hit a popular stadium in Alexandria vicinity, while indicated that a number of officials were wounded in the bombing.
The Head of the security committee in Babil Provincial Council Thamer Zeban said in a press statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “The casualties of the suicide bombing that targeted a popular stadium in Alexandria on Friday reached 20 dead and 80 wounded.”
Zeban added, “The wounded that were transferred to hospitals in Alexandria, Musayyib and Hillah, included a number of security forces officers.”
