11 killed, wounded in 2 Baghdad blasts

BAGDHAD / IraqiNews.com: Eleven persons were killed or wounded in two blasts that rocked the Iraqi capital on Thursday, Iraqi police said. “Today, a car bomb went off inside a market in al-Huriyya area, northwestern Baghdad, killing a civilian and wounding five others,” a police source told IraqiNews.com. “An improvised explosive device (IED) detonated in Baghdad’s eastern area of al-Fadiliya while a police patrol vehicle was passing the location, wounding five persons, including three patrolmen,” another security source said.
