(IraqiNews.com) BABEL – Babel Migration Directorate announced that 116 displaced families have returned to their liberated areas at Anbar and Diyala and asserted that the directorate will provide financial aid to these families.

The Director of Babel Migration Directorate Nasr Abdel Jabbar in a press statement said, “The latest statistics showed that the number of IDPs received by Babel has reached to 14832.”

Abdel Jabbar added, “The migration directorate in the province has approved the return of 116 displaced families to Anbar and Diyala,” adding, “418 families have returned without official approval and 523 families requested to move to Kurdistan Region, Najaf and Karbala.”

“The Ministry of Migration and Displacement granted the IDPs three payments including one million dinars in the first and second round of payments and 250 thousand dinars in the third,” he concluded.
