15 wanted men nabbed in Diala

DIALA / IraqiNews.com: Police forces on Wednesday arrested 15 wanted men in a military campaign northeast of Baaquba city. “The operation targeted a safe hide of the Al-Qaida in Iraq (AQI) organization in the al-Haroniya area of the al-Miqdadiya district, 45 km northeast of Baaquba,” a local police source told IraqiNews.com news agency. He noted that the area’s AQI Ameer (commander) has been arrested. The source did not mention further details, but noted that in addition to the Ameer, the forces also arrested 14 other men wanted for terror cases, most of them AQI operatives.
