16 ISIS members killed in aerial bombing southwest of Kirkuk

(IraqiNews.com) A security source in Kirkuk announced on Wednesday, that 16 members of the ISIS organization have been killed in an aerial bombing carried out by the US-led international coalition warplanes on several sites belonging to the terrorist group , including weapon storage depots south-west of the province.

The source said in an interview with IraqiNews.com,”The international coalition aircrafts bombed this evening the sites of ISIS elements in a number of Hawija villages (55 km southwest of Kirkuk), leaving 16 elements dead,” noting that, ” One of strikes targeted the biggest weapon depot, resulting in its destruction.”

The source, who requested to remain anonymous, added, “The bombing was based on accurate intelligence about the massing elements in those locations.”
