17 ISIS militants killed, wounded in Iraqi aerial bombardments in Kirkuk

( Kirkuk – A source in the province of Kirkuk announced on Monday, that 17 members of the so-called ISIS had been either killed or wounded in aerial bombardments carried out by the Iraqi Air Force in southern and western Kirkuk (250 km north of Baghdad).

The source said in a statement obtained by, “The Iraqi Air Force carried out a number of air strikes on headquarters belonging to ISIS in Qasabt Bashir and al-Safra in Riyad area (65 km west Kirkuk),” adding that, “17 ISIS militants were either killed or wounded in the aerial bombardments.”

Noteworthy, ISIS controlled the area south and west of Kirkuk since June 2014.
