18 wanted men arrested, cache seized in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Policemen in Basra on Saturday arrested 18 persons wanted on different charges and seized a cache of rockets during search raids all over the province, a local security source said. “Security forces conducted search raids in the cities of Basra, Safwan and al-Zubair, arresting 18 wanted men on criminal charges,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The raiding forces also seized a cache of anti-armor rockets and RPG-7 missiles in Safwan, (60 km) western Basra,” he added.
