2 kids wounded in landmine blast

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: Two brothers, both schoolboys, were wounded on Sunday in a landmine explosion that occurred in a village near Makhmour district, according to a local police source. “This morning, a landmine exploded in Yarmaja village, wounding two kids who were on their way to school,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The children, aged 10 and seven, were taken to an emergency hospital in Arbil for treatment,” the source added. A hospital report said that one of the two children, who are currently in the intensive care unit, is in a critical condition.
