2 Peshmerga fighters killed in suicide bombing in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Two Peshmerga (Kurd) fighters were killed on Monday and one was wounded when a suicide bomber hit their checkpoint with his booby-trapped car east of Mosul city. “The checkpoint is run by the Iraqi army, U.S. military, and Peshmerga,” a local military source told IraqiNews.com news agency. He noted that the victims were admitted to hospitals in Arbil, the capital city of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region. Mosul, the capital city of Ninewa province, lies 405 km north of Baghdad. MH (P)/SR   4
