(IraqiNews.com) Salahuddin – A security source in Salahuddin province announced on Thursday, that two policemen were killed and five others injured in ISIS attack on a police station south of Samarra.

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com: “ISIS elements launched at dawn today an attack on a police station south of Samarra, killing two policemen and wounding five others.”

The source, who asked to remain anonymous, added: “A force from al-Hashed al-Shaabi volunteers came to the police station to support the police,” indicating that, “ISIS elements were forced to withdraw.”
