2 policemen killed in car bomb attack in Falluja

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: Two policemen were killed and nine others wounded on Saturday when a car rigged with explosives driven by a suicide bomber went off in eastern Falluja, a police source in the city said. “The bomber detonated his explosive vehicle near the Osoud al-Jazira police station, al-Karam district, eastern Falluja, killing two policemen and wounding nine others,” Lt. Colonel Hameed al-Dulaimi told IraqiNews.com news agency. Falluja, the largest city in the predominantly Sunni province of al-Anbar, lies 45 km west of the Iraqi capital Baghdad. “One of the two dead policemen was an officer while the wounded were five policemen and four civilians,” Dulaimi added.
