2 policemen killed in car bomb attack in Falluja

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: Two policemen were killed and nine others wounded on Saturday when a car rigged with explosives driven by a suicide bomber went off in eastern Falluja, a police source in the city said. “The bomber detonated his explosive vehicle near the Osoud al-Jazira police station, al-Karam district, eastern Falluja, killing two policemen and wounding nine others,” Lt. Colonel Hameed al-Dulaimi told IraqiNews.com news agency. Falluja, the largest city in the predominantly Sunni province of al-Anbar, lies 45 km west of the Iraqi capital Baghdad. “One of the two dead policemen was an officer while the wounded were five policemen and four civilians,” Dulaimi added. Anbar’s capital is Ramadi, 110 km west of Baghdad.   AmR (P)/SR 1
