(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – Baghdad Operations Command announced on Tuesday, that two tourists have been killed and three others injured after the bombing that targeted the visitors of Imam Kadhim in Saadoun Street in central Baghdad, indicating that the bombing was carried out by a suicide car bomber.

The spokesman for Baghdad Operations Command Brigadier Saad Maan said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “A car was parked in al-Saadoun Street in central Baghdad exploded targeting tourists, which resulted in the death of two people and the wounding of three others.”

“The security forces opened fire on the bomber, but he blew himself up,” Maan added

A police source said on Tuesday that a number of visitors to the Imam Kadhim had been killed and wounded in a car explosion in Saadoun Street in central Baghdad.
