2 wanted men nabbed in Kirkuk

KIRKUK / IraqiNews.com: Two wanted men on Saturday were arrested by the Asayesh, or the Kurdish security forces, in Kirkuk province, according to a local security source. “The arrests were made during a raid on a house in Tareeq Baghdad area,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Those arrested, Jassem Mohammed Hilal and Talal Mohammed Hilal, have been involved in several bombings that occurred in Kirkuk city, the most recent of which is a car bomb blast on September 25, 2008 in al-Arfa area,” the source explained, providing no further details. Kirkuk, a mixed city of Kurds, Turkmen, Christians and Arabs, lies 250 km northeast of the Iraqi capital Baghdad. SS (P) 1
