20 ISIS members killed during liberation battles near Haditha

( Anbar – The leadership of al-Hashd al-Shaabi in Anbar province announced on Friday that at least (20) ISIS members including four suicide bombers were killed during the liberation battles in Haditha near west of Anbar.

The intelligence director of al-Somoud brigade in Haditha, Lieutenant Colonel Nazim al-Jaghafi, in a statement said, “The joint security forces conducted a military operation against ISIS strongholds in order to liberate the areas near Haditha district and during the operation twenty (20) ISIS members including four suicide bombers wearing explosive belts were killed.”

Jaghafi added, “The security forces also managed to destroy four vehicles carrying weapons and mortar detachment in al-Sakra area during the liberation battles northwest of Haditha.”
