23 wanted men detained in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Police forces on Wednesday arrested 23 wanted men and two suspected gunmen in separate areas of Basra, a police source said. “Policemen waged security raids in separate areas of Basra, where they arrested 21 wanted men for perpetrating criminal crimes and two wanted persons for terrorist crimes as well as two suspected gunmen,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The forces seized four light weapons and four stolen and unlicensed vehicles during the operations,” he added.
