(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Iraqi Interior Ministry said on Wednesday, that the outcome of the suicide bombing of the Shiite shrine in al-Obeidi District east of Baghdad rose to 29 dead and wounded.

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “The outcome of the suicide bombing of Hasaniyat Ahl al-Bayt in al-Obeidi District east of Baghdad rose to seven dead and 22 wounded,” expecting  that “the bombing toll may rise because of the intensity of the explosion.”

The source, who asked anonymity, added: “the injured are still receiving treatment in hospitals in the capital Baghdad.”

Noteworthy, a source at the Interior Ministry announced earlier on Wednesday that 14 people had been either killed or wounded in a suicide bombing that targeted a Shiite shrine in eastern Baghdad.
